Historical Paintings in Gander

From 1999 through 2005, the North Atlantic Aviation Museum (135 Trans-Canada Highway) worked with creative and artistic local youth to produce a series of large-scale historical paintings. Working with established artists at D3 Artworks in Cambridge, ON, they produced these original paintings on canvas stretched over wooden frames. These paintings are located inside the JR Smallwood Arts & Culture Centre (155 Airport Blvd) and inside the Gander International Airport Terminal (1000 James Blvd).
