Historical Paintings at the Steele Community Centre

The Town of Gander availed of funding for this public art installation via the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador’s “Come Home Year 2022 Cultural Funding”. Our project showcases the talents and creativity of local artists who have chosen scenes and themes from the earliest days of Gander Airport to today. The result is eleven original paintings by seven local artists, all displayed inside the Steele Community Centre on Airport Blvd (located behind the Arts & Culture Centre). Free entry.
