Thomas Howe Demonstration Forest

Explore a variety of trails ranging from 0.4km – 5km in length or bird watch at the THDF. The trails are easy-moderate walking depending on the trail. They host an informal, outdoor interpretive site and demonstration area for people to learn about the forest and forest management techniques. Thomas Howe was Newfoundland's first Chief Woods Ranger and spent his life managing and protecting the forests of Newfoundland. Along with picnic and restroom facilities.
