Explore a variety of trails from 0.4km - 5km in length, ranging from easy to moderate walking depending on the trail. Featuring an informal, outdoor interpretive site and demonstration area for people to learn about the forest and forest management techniques. Thomas Howe was NL's first Chief Woods Ranger and spent his life managing and protecting the forests of Newfoundland. Birdwatching is a popular activity. Picnic & restroom facilities onsite. Be aware that wild animals may be encountered.
