Lawn Bay Ecological Reserve is located near Lord's Cove, Burin Peninsula and protects the only breeding colony of Manx Shearwater in North America. The reserve's three islands may be viewed from shore or by boat. Visit an interpretive plaque in Lord's Cove. Access and distance restrictions are in effect due to the sensitive nature of the bird colonies. Some activities (such as research, tours or commercial operations) require a permit.
