Sandy Cove Ecological Reserve protects a small, endangered plant, Long's Braya (Braya longii). This species is found nowhere else in the world except for a few limestone barrens locations along the Northern Peninsula coast. Please do not visit the Reserve when soil conditions are wet (following snow melt or rainfall) as this can damage critical Braya habitat. For more information please email us or visit our website.
