Our Favourite Fall Imagery of 2025
By Newfoundland & Labrador
Newfoundland and Labrador has a way of shining even brighter than usual in the fall. Our landscapes, already known for their character and colour, shift into something extraordinary during September and October. We’ve gathered some of our favourite imagery from this year’s autumn display, so you can experience the magic for yourself.
Autumn’s Palette
With shades of yellow, orange, red and brown, this image captured by our friend Steve Sheppard could inspire the artist in all of us.
Grey Foggy Day
Some people wait for the sun, but we’ve learned to love the fog. Take this reel from Gord Follett as an example.
Fall in the Battery
There’s no better time to take in the picturesque Battery neighborhood than when the cliffs are bursting with autumn’s colours, as seen here by RJ Shorter.
Edge of the World
Where the land ends and inspiration begins. Our friend Chelsea Lawrence caught this serene moment at the Squish Studio in Fogo Island.
Colours of Calm
Perched above a sea of fall colours, Thomas Hickey captured this stunning image of a beautiful day in the capital city.
Bonavista in Full Colour
The Bonavista Peninsula wears autumn well, but don’t just take our word for it. Check out our friend Kara O’Keefe’s reel showcasing the region all dressed up.
Sunset on the Big Land
Out here, even the sunset feels untamed. Jennifer Vincent-Flight caught this one setting over the fall foliage in Tanya Lake, Labrador City.
Where the Colours Lead You
A winding coastal road and a burst of fall colour set the scene for this reel of Petty Harbour taken by @framesbyshah.
Rolling Green Hills
Few places capture the power and peace of fall quite like Gros Morne. From the valley floor to the mountain ridge, every hue tells a story of change, beauty, and belonging, Ryan Malley captured just that!
