A full-day hands-on workshop on the art of framed weaving with Denika Kelly, a local textile artist who blends her Mi’kmaw heritage with her deep respect for the environment. Learn the basic principles and techniques of weaving, using a variety of natural materials and tools to create your own unique piece. No previous weaving experience required, just the willingness to explore with colours, textures and patterns, with guidance from the instructor.
