A hiking adventure designed for fit and active hikers who like to explore off the beaten path. A knowledgeable local guide leads your adventure, shares Gros Morne’s geological story and identifies unique flora along the way. Explore the exposed and rugged Tablelands mountain of mantle, overlook steep canyons, see pristine waterfalls, and enjoy sweeping views of Bonne Bay and the Long Range Mountains. 6-8 hrs; 14km. Opens mid-June pending snow melt.

$450 private guide. A maximum of 6 hikers in the group. A booking is required at least 48 hours in advance. This is a challenging off-trail hike requiring participants to have hiking boots and rain gear. Meeting locations at Gros Morne Adventures office in Norris Point at 8:30 am (an additional water taxi fee of $16 return per person applies) or at the Woody Point waterfront at 9:30 am. The hike will be cancelled if weather is inclement.
