WWII Comes to Bell Island - The Town Meeting

An original play performed at The Keeper's Cafe that depicts some of the drama, terror and hard times that took place during the sinking of the ore carriers. The play is not without its humor as soldiers are confronted by an irate farmer and there is the flirty lieutenant, the very serious captain and the love struck guide. The play starts with soup, sandwiches, and dessert. Showtimes are in the early evening, weather permitting. The show is interactive and audience participation is encouraged.
