Play a round of first-class golf, and tee off over the rapids of two salmon rivers and along the powerful shores of the Atlantic Ocean. During the summer months, there are live dramatic performances, amazing nature walks, and evening soirées at the outdoor theatre.
There are a several camping experiences in the park including oTENTiks, a cross between a tent and a rustic cabin. These campsites are already set-up and ready to go.
Regardless of when you visit, Terra Nova National Park is open for camping and activities of all kinds. When you arrive, check in at the visitor centre and plan your day or arrange for a guided interpretive tour. After your hiking expedition, head to the eatery for a mouthwatering Newfoundland and Labrador meal.
Getting to Terra Nova National Park
Terra Nova National Park is located in central Newfoundland along the Trans-Canada Highway Route 1, approximately 200 kilometres west of St. John's, 90 kilometres east of Gander and 170 kilometres from Argentia.More on Getting to Newfoundland & Labrador
