Gibbet Hill Trail - Signal Hill National Historic Site, Parks Canada

This return walk is the shortest of the Signal Hill trails. The name is derived from the 1700s, when this hill was the site of a wooden post, or a "Gibbet", used to display the bodies of executed criminals to the town below. Level of Difficulty: Moderate. Length and Distance:1 km round trip. Time: 20 mins. Location: Trail head is located to the right of the Visitor Information Centre.
