Ryan Premises National Historic Site commemorates the rich history of the Newfoundland cod fishery and tells the story of the Ryan family. Meet our interpreters and learn hands-on techniques for catching and “making” cod. Explore history on your own in the exhibit or stroll along the harbour steeped in its past of salt fish and sealing. At the Ryan Premises, there are five buildings with plenty to do and explore!
