Dr. Davis Earle Trail

The Dr. Davis Earle named after Dr. Davis Earle, a Rhodes Scholar who is known for his participation with the Sudbury Neutrino Observatory. The trail is a moderately difficult trail that brings you to Knox’s Hole, which is a beautiful area to look over the falls and take a dip. Keep an eye out for fairy houses! Appropriate food wear is required. The Carbonear hiking trail can be accessed two ways; off of Columbus Drive or at the end of Nell’s Walking Trail where a culvert can be found.
