East Coast Trail - White Horse Path

A strenuous, 8- to 10-hour (one way), 18.2-km trail. Recommended for experienced hikers. Trail hardening is ongoing, as well as many structures and boardwalk buildings. A map is recommended. Exercise caution in rain/frost conditions, consider using trekking poles. Experience old-growth forest, brooks, ponds, erratics, rocky outcrops, and gooly-covered peatland with views of Bauline, Conception Bay, Black Cliff, rolling barrens, coves and Baccalieu Island Ecological Reserve.
