East Coast TrailSt. John's
The trail offers a range of wilderness hiking and walking paths from easy to strenuous that include geographical wonders such as towering cliffs, fjords, sea stacks, rock arches and even a wave-driven fresh water geyser called the Spout. Headlands offer spectacular views of our coastline and bring you up close to icebergs, whales, sea and forest birds in season. The trail takes you through coastal communities, La Manche Provincial Park and the active archaeological dig at Ferryland.
