A moderate to difficult, 4- to 7-hour (one way), 10.5-km (plus 2-km side trails) hike from Fort Amherst, St. John’s to Blackhead, Route 11. Attractions along the route include wild orchids, whale watching, viewpoints, swimming holes, a beaver dam, seabirds, and a barachoix.
