Malady Head Trail - Parks Canada Terra Nova National Park

Hike through a mature black spruce forest carpeted by moss. This trail offers an impressive view of Southwest Arm, Wings Pond and Alexander Bay. The access point for this trail is to the left of campsite 62 in Malady Head Campground on Route 310. The trail is 3.4 km and takes 1 hour, and 45 minutes return. Waterproof footwear is recommended due to a few wet spots. Portions of the trail has boardwalk with handrails; there is a steep climb at the end. The trail has a moderate to difficult rating.
