Combine iceberg viewing with a day tour to Exploits Island and get a double treat of the history of Exploits with seeing these floating mammoths from Greenland glaciers. Collect some small pieces and put them in your favorite beverage with your lunch or maybe just put them in a cooler for later use. If you are lucky, you might see one "calving". We will talk about what brings them to our coast and maybe the potential negative aspects that come with a spectacle that gives us so much enjoyment.

Subject to weather conditions. The best time is usually May, June and sometimes early July. Typical start and end time is 9am - 4pm but can be flexible for a group. Pick up and return at Lawrences Hr off route 352 or Little Burnt Bay, north of Lewisporte. Minimum 2 people.
