On the Northern tip of Newfoundland icebergs linger longest, often into August. The food supply around Quirpon Island is unmatched for its amount and tastiness (from a whale's perspective), drawing humpback, orca, dolphin, seal, and minke to feast throughout the summer. Our 12 passenger Zodiac takes you out to meet these spectacles while exploring the area around the island and nearby Viking site. Birds, geology, and 3000 years of human history all add to the experience.
