International celebration of sound through new music and the arts, wrapped in Newfoundland's unique landscape. Concerts, Harbour Symphonies for ship horns, premieres of contemporary classical music, spectacular drumming/percussion, dance, theatre, film, world music, comedy, Newfoundland trad music, improv, jazz, sound inventions, voice, workshops. Indoor and outdoor concerts in locations throughout the city. The Sound Symposium takes place once every two years. Next one: July, 2024.
