Maddox Cove Nature Reserve

This 11-acre property consists primarily of coastal coniferous forest, dominated by balsam fir and black spruce, with mossy ground cover. Other species found here include twinflower, wild rose and lowbush blueberry. Located on the coastline, 24 kilometres from the Witless Bay Ecological Reserve, both land birds, such as warblers and sparrows, and seabirds, such as gulls and alcids, can be viewed from this property.
