Derm Flynn Peace Park

Located on the banks of the Gander River, you can enjoy a beautiful sunset as people fish or you may even see the dragon boats training. Our park is perfect for the whole family with a gazebo, playground, splash pad and sweet shack. We also have several historic pieces for visitors with a cenotaph, a bouy from our Bowater days, and a piece of steel from the Twin Towers featured in the Come From Away musical. Folks can also enjoy kayaking or paddle boarding along the Gander River.
