Legge Homestead Museum

The Homestead, a registered Heritage NL structure, is a one-of-a-kind Newfoundland farmhouse built in the early 1900s overlooking the estuary of Robinsons river as it empties into Bay St George. Take a tour of the museum, discover the ways of the past, and learn how early settlers became self-sufficient. Visit the gift shop for unique, locally created items including books of local interest. A short stroll down Cartyville Beach Road will take you to the sandy beach at the river mouth.
