Spectacle Head Trail

Spectacle Head dominates the northwest side of Cupids harbour. At an altitude of 75 m, a rugged 400-m long climb brings you to the “The American Man” – a stone cairn on the summit. The view from here out to Conception Bay is spectacular. Those preferring an easier walk can fork left along the path beside the pitcher plant bog and follow a gentler trail to the former site of the Cupids harbour lighthouse. Please use caution near cliffs. Look for interpretation signs with QR code links.
