The John C. Crosbie Sealers Interpretation Centre is a unique facility featuring a striking Museum and Art Gallery as well as a powerful seaside Memorial Statue and Monument. Through art, artifacts and multimedia, the museum vividly brings to life the sealers’ stories. At Porter’s Point rests the bronze statue of father and son, Reuben and Albert John Crewe in a frozen embrace, and a Memorial Monument listing the crew members involved in the 1914 Newfoundland Sealing Disaster.
