Tea House Hill Walking Trail

Decades ago, Dr. Grenfell & many other town residents used to walk the scenic tea house after a long day of work. Interpretative panels are placed along the route to the top of the hill where a lookout is placed upon the original foundation of the tea house. Sir Wilfred Grenfell, his wife, and other colleagues are buried adjacent to this site, commemorated by memorial plaques. The trail also has two strategically placed viewing platforms overlooking the harbour, ocean and open country.
