Joe Batt's Point Walking Trail

Take a stroll along the North Atlantic Coastline to see the Great Auk statue that commemorates the now extinct Great Auk bird species. Pass by local gardens, the unique Long Art Studio and various bird watching blinds. The trail is 4.6-km round trip and starts at the Etheridge’s Point Park that includes a playground and ball filed. Proper footwear is recommended. Before you begin your stroll, drop down to the water to see the witch’s footprint and to gain some local folklore.
