The Net Loft

Rigolet

Jan 1 - Dec 31

Constructed in 1876 by the Hudson’s Bay Company, it remains completely original in structure. It once stored nets, floats, rope, grapnels, cork bales, and all the tools needed for salmon fishing. Walk through 32 untouched storage bunks marked with family names and fishing grounds, explore artifacts that highlight Rigolet’s cultural history, and learn how “Rigolet Brand” salmon became highly sought after in Holland. The Netloft stands today as Rigolet’s most significant heritage buildings.
