Hike Discovery - Lighthouse Trail, King's Cove

3.5 km moderate. Former country road, once known as "Battertons Path", connected the lighthouse to the community of King's Cove. Now restored, the traditional path provides access to spectacular coastal scenery, remarkable geological sequences, and a glimpse of a unique history and culture. Relax at the picnic site on the grounds of the Old School, enjoy the smell of wild flowers as you stroll by Pat Murphy's meadows on your way to the lighthouse.
