Carmanville Wetlands Interpretation Centre and Nature Trail

The Interpretation Centre exhibits/exterior signs highlight Carmanville's Natural and Cultural heritage, focusing on the 1961 Bonavista North Fire. 4-km of interconnected, groomed trails provide excellent bird watching opportunities for songbirds/waterfowl. Amenities include BBQ/canteen, craft shop, picnic area, wi-fi, trouting, geocaching. Annual Canada Day celebration with local entertainment, BBQ, cake, children's games and fireworks. Winter snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, ice-fishing.
