Delve into the history of the boom and bust of the Aguathuna Quarry and the surrounding communities. Over 100 years ago the quarry opened and it was believed this region would become the next city in the province. Evidently, that never occurred and the area remains very rural. The museum preserves the stories of local miners, fisherpersons, business men & women, priests, and school teachers. Stroll the grounds and enjoy a light meal at the onsite tea room. 12 km from the town of Stephenville.
