The Gale, (former convent) in Port au Port East and offers four bedrooms for accommodation. Guests are offered a continental breakfast and have access to kitchen, dining, living room and backyard areas. There is a public playground in front. The building is available for art studios, exhibits and teaching/perfomance areas as well. Beautiful beaches surround the community and there are great hiking trails. Connecting to and from the Port aux Basque ferry is convenient from The Gale.
