My Dear Minnie Museum of Heritage and Culture

Opened in 2021, “My Dear Minnie” Museum of Heritage & Culture is located in the former family home of the late Minnie & Richard White. Known as Newfoundland’s First Lady of the Accordion, Minnie was a musical icon whose legacy is known provincially and beyond. The house had been transformed into a museum featuring a one-room school, fishing shack, post office and more, all reminiscent of an earlier time. Just one km off the TCH, Route 407 Tompkins. Owned and operated by Helen & Russell White.
