Registered Heritage District of Heart's Content

Enjoy our landscape of a cable town centred around the 1876 station, a Provincial Historic Site and focal point of the Registered Heritage District. You’ll find numerous historical buildings, including several registered heritage structures. Visit the Hopkins House (1921), the Anglo-American houses (1885), Lodge No.1 of the Society of United Fishermen (1869), and Heyfield United Church (1878), now a Regional Arts Centre. Walk around and feel the history of the town as it was a hundred years ago!
