Indian Point Beothuk Interpretation Site

Millertown

May 18 - November 14, 2026

Indian Point is a National Historic Site. It is located on a sandy beach area on the shoreline of the Red Indian Lake (now Beothuk Lake) where Mary March was captured and later returned for burial. New interpretation boards tell story of the Beothuk people and the artifacts that were found on this site. Visit the reconstructed Mamateek and smoke house. View the town of Millertown nestled 3KM along the same shoreline.
