The Red Bay Basques Whaling Station was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2013. The National Heritage site brings you back in time to when Basques Whales lived and worked in Red Bay. Explore the archaeological sites on Saddle Island or see the restored 16th century Chalupa, the oldest know whaling boat in the world.
