Rocky Point Lighthouse

A short (distance) hike will take you to our incredibly historic lighthouse. Built in 1873, it's one of the oldest located in Newfoundland. With the backdrop of the beautiful Coast of Bays fjords, the view of resettled communities across the bay and its iconic red and white stripes this is one photo op you don't want to miss during your visit. This trail is also home to dozens of Newfoundland's provincial flower, the pitcher plant.
