Newfoundland and Labrador Tourism can provide you - the tour operator and itinerary planner - the tools to create a dynamic and exciting tour program to Newfoundland and Labrador.
The department can provide the following resources:
- Consultation Services to assist in developing itinerary proposals.
- Travel Trade Planner, a companion piece to the Newfoundland & Labrador Travel Guide and Provincial Road Map. It includes: sample itineraries, transportation services, receptive operators and touring services, restaurants, Destination Marketing Organizations and tourism associations, and general tour planning information and resources.
- Tourism Literature/Collateral for distribution including: Travel Guide, Archaeology Guide, Hunting & Fishing Guide, travel guide lure, mini lure, outdoor adventure lure, highway map, unique selling points profile and lap map/tour shells.
- Posters for display in your sales office.

- Slides and Electronic Images to use in brochure development as well as presentations.
- Videos (NTSC & PAL formats) to use in educational seminars, presentations and other promotions.

- Familiarization/Educational Tour Program for tour operators, media and itinerary planners in cooperation with the local tourism industry.
- Joint Marketing Agreements: Newfoundland & Labrador Tourism will consider proposals from leading tour companies. For other marketing initiatives, please contact the department for a copy of Marketing Plan & Partnership Opportunities 2005 Booklet.
- Liaison with Canadian Tourism Commission representatives in Canada, United States and international markets.
- Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) Rebate Information.
- Toll Free Information Line for travel & touring packages, accommodations and boat tours.
