The Friendly Invasion

Once home to the American Air Force, the Ernest Harmon Air Force Base Stephenville now celebrates the Friendly Invasion Festival, so called because of the influx of American servicemen in 1941. Each year we celebrate the coming together of cultures, the friendships and long lasting memories. We have a variety of events such as historical walking tours, ATV tours, bonfires, live theatre, and open air concerts. Stephenville - We're worth the detour!
