Heart's Content Lighthouse

Visit our beautiful historic lighthouse from 1871. Our town was known for being “the most important fishing station on the south side of Trinity Bay”, and the lighthouse, along with the Cable Station, was a significant stepping stone in our fishing history. The fixed red light had a focal point 26.8 meters (88.5') above sea level and was visible for 12 miles. The lighthouse is painted with iconic red and white spirals that make it the perfect photo souvenir.
