Wonder Shore - Greenspond Hiking Trail

A moderate, 6-km loop shoreline trail around the island and town (connected by a causeway) of Greenspond which was settled in the 1690's and became one of Newfoundland's major settlements, once being called "The Capital of the North". With historic buildings in the town and breathtaking shoreline scenery where whales, seals and seabirds frequent and of course, icebergs because of proximity to Iceberg Alley. Walk trails that were walked by the earliest settlers of Newfoundland over 300 years ago.
