Sandy Pond Trail - Parks Canada Terra Nova National Park

Stroll this gentle loop around the waters of Sandy Pond. Picnic at one of our picturesque locations. See caribou, ferns, mushrooms, twin flowers and pitcher plants along this self-guided trail. Take a selfie in the Red Chairs. The trail is wide and many sections have boardwalk. Level of Difficulty: Easy. Length/Distance: 3 km loop. Time: 1 hour. Location: Sandy Pond Day Use Area; located approximately 3 km off Route 1 (Trans-Canada Highway); roughly in the middle of the park.
