Located approximately 12 km from Deer Lake Airport on the Viking Trail, 6 km North of Deer Lake and a 3 hour drive from the Port aux Basques Ferry. Thickwood Inn is a prime location from which to explore the Great Northern Peninsula, Gros Morne National Park or Western Newfoundland. We are close to many Atlantic salmon rivers, hiking trails, boat tours, and the Insectarium. Our rooms are quiet and cozy and in the evenings sit back and enjoy a BBQ on our large deck.
