During a storm in December of 1919, the S.S. Ethie was intentionally run aground with the hopes of saving all 72 people aboard. Over 100 years later, we invite you to join us for a cultural tour of the region to see how times have changed. Visit Martin’s Point, the site of the shipwreck and where parts of the ill-fated ship remain today. Afterwards, tie it altogether at the Gros Morne Theatre Festival in Cow Head to take in the S.S. Ethie dinner theatre by Shane Ellis Coates.
