Shaped and formed through both volcanic and glacial activity, Manuels River is home to some of the best-preserved trilobite fossils in the world. By visiting our exhibits you’ll take in the remarkable, MR1 fossil, found on the West bank of Manuels River in the early 1980s by Dr. Riccardo Levi-Setti. They also showcase the interesting local geology that makes up Manuels River, as well as all the biology, ecology and human history of the area.
