Snowshoe Tablelands

Gros Morne National Park of Canada
Gros Morne National Park

This iconic Gros Morne landscape is dramatically changed by snow. No longer the red Martian-esque scene from summer, snow highlights all the crags and crevices of the Tablelands, making a landscape reminiscent of a pencil sketch. Snowshoeing along the base of the mountain into Winterhouse Brook Canyon gives you a great sense of the scale and windswept character of this unique area of the park.
