Get Cooking in Terra Nova National Park
All food tastes better outdoors! Terra Nova’s day use areas have shelters perfect for cooking up your favourites. Smell bologna roasting over your camp stove and the aroma of coffee or tea brewing, while enjoying the scenes and sounds of mother nature. This is nature at its finest. Cobblers Brook, Sandy Pond, Newman Sound, Southwest Arm, and Southwest Brook, and Salton’s day use areas invite you to enjoy your coffee break, boil up, picnic or cook up at the shelters and dine in the outdoors.
Valid May 21 - Oct 10, 2021. Day pass fees apply and can be purchased at the Visitor Centre or Newman Sound Campground: $5.90 for adults; $5 for seniors; free for 17 and under; $12 for a family/group. Season passes and Parks Canada Discovery Passes also available. Please keep yourself and other visitors safe by respecting physical distancing and abiding by any signage.
