Flower's Cove Hike 'n' Boil-up
Flower's Cove trail is an easily walkable trail that entails inconsistent topography of different ecosystems populated with a diversity of flora and fauna. From the trail you can view the Atlantic ocean and it's jagged edge of high cliffs comprised of different layers of rock. At the cove we will host a boil-up of traditional foods. While waiting for your meal you can try some trouting in the freshwater steady, paint art on beach rocks or explore beyond on the continuation of the trail.
Valid Jun 1 - Oct 31, 2020. Reservations go ahead conditions permitting. We will meet at Maberly, two mins from the Elliston puffin site where you will be presented a waiver to sign. We will provide a small set of binoculars and a hiking stick if desired. You will need to be able to walk 1.5 kms and withstand a moderately steep incline. Be be prepared with comfortable hiking footwear, suitable clothing, a backpack with water and a small protein snack, and of course a camera to take pics of the spectacular scenery.
