Wilderness Cooking Experience
Interested in locally sourced foods and learning where your food comes from? Head to the woods with our experienced outdoor guide. Shawn will pass along his family’s traditions and history of catching and preparing their own food. With hand-on demonstrations, you will learn how to set a rabbit snare and how to properly prepare rabbit for the table…or around a roaring fire in the woods. Your pursuit for a rabbit will be followed by a boil-up with tea, homemade bread and a feed of rabbit.
Valid Oct 11, 2018 - Mar 15, 2019. This experience requires 24 hours notice and is weather pending. The rabbit snares are checked in the am & set a day prior so to truly make this a unique experience stay at one of our Chalets!
