This large wilderness reserve protects one of North America's most southerly, unspoiled barrens. It offers a true wilderness experience - there are no services or built hiking trails. It is an excellent place for backcountry hiking, canoeing, skiing, angling, hunting, birdwatching, photography, and camping. Access is by unmaintained road.
